After a couple of years of complaints BH FINALLY unbundled their turbo tiers (15/1.5 20/2) from their digital TV and digital phone packages. I've been under a discount (due to a couple of BH mistakes, they fell all over themselves trying to make it up to me.) so my final price is under $50. Eventually it'll be closer to $65 for the 20/2 package.
The connection is advertised as powerboost-ed, which brings the download speeds closer to 30Mbps. Oddly, while the speedtests never showed over 19.5Mbps, my router would graph 25-28Mbps during the same trial. My actual downloads were averaging 22-25Mbps, pulling in 4 gig distros.
I've been stress testing the faster connection with speedtests, Linux distro seeding, outbound video streaming and anything else I can come up with. After I tweaked my QoS it all ran quite smoothly; simultaneously. My VoIP is clear with no dropouts.
It was a 5 minute phone call switch to RR Turbo. The original hookup (5 years ago) was called in at 4pm, with the installers on site at 8:00am the next morning. Other than a hand full of outages in 5 years (mostly ~3am) it's been reliable and fast.
