The install was scheduled for between 8 and 11 or 12 but they came at 7:45 and I was half asleep during the install and therefore not paying full attention and I was so interested in getting back to sleep, I just wanted to get the install over with. It also didn't help that the 2 guys were speaking Spanish to each other(I don't remember if they even spoke English).
I got no welcome kit but being half asleep I signed the pink sheet anyway. I usually read stuff before I sign but not at 8 am and half asleep.
Also I have 30 or 40 year old cables throughout my house and 2 of them need replacing as the signal is so degraded I can't get digital cable in 1 room (the other 1 going to the modem). I assume the installers were supposed to replace them. But apparently if it was working at all that was good enough for them. The upstream dBmV is 55 in the modem stats which I'm told is terrible. The internet and phone is unaffected, but digital TV is a different story.
