| reply to zed260 well my twc system was upgraded to 860MHz motorola line gear from 750 motorola/GI(mostly installed by TCI in 1997) last year and it cost millions for a metro of 40 cities in 4 system clusters.
but now we have 51 HD and all Digital simulcast. before we had 20HD and partial Digital simulcast. |

1 edit | reply to zed260 That's the only real benefit you get from going to 860, is that you can still dish out a half decent HD lineup and not piss off people by taking away their analogs.
I would love to have an 860 MHz system, but reality tells me that analog reclamation is more cost effective. |
