Is the NHL Network now available as a part of the standard package? I seem to be getting the channel now. I am still asked to subscribe to the other channels in the "Sports Pack"

I hope it is not only available during the Center Ice Free Preview. I like the channel but I am not willing to pay $7.99 extra a month for the sports pack when the only channel I want is the NHL Network.
BTW: Why is the channel not offered as a part of the Extreme HD package in NY? Seems stupid to me that it is offered in other areas but not in NY. |

Part of Extreme HD in Philly. It's the only one I want to watch once MLB Network HD is over (like now).
(I hope to be watching the Phillies for a few more weeks, but that's TBS and FOX). |

In NY the Sports Package is an a-la-carte package.. add it to the price of you already having Extreme HD and your paying equal to what everyone else pays regardless. So.. its actually a better thing for NY/N. Jersey people because they aren't paying the extra 7.99 for a package they may not neccisarily want. |

I'm in NNJ and I pay $9.99 for HD boxes. Is it really $5.99 for all of NJ as well? I've had fios for years now and everytime I've order or swapped a box the CSR has always told me that its $9.99. For at least 2 years every month I've been billed 9.99 per hd box. If it helps im in VHO7.
I'm also getting the NHL network. Odd that there was no message about it being available as a free preview. |

I'm in VH07 also, but signed up this year. Your 9.99 rate might be the old rate. I think it was 9.99, but Verizon actually lowered it to 5.99 to compete with Cablevision. You probably have to ask them to change it, they certainly wouldn't have done it automatically! |
