Tough laptops

I'm after a laptop that is tough.
I know this is a question of a sale, however, the odds of someone in DSLR's home land making a sale here to me here as I'm asking the question of what is available in Oz.

I know of the Panasonic Toughbooks, and see a great deal here for a second-hand toughbook CF-18.

While it isn't about the money, it is about what is available for road work, dirt included, that can be packed in a case with clothing if need be and survive the outdoors of Australia without spending $4K aus.

I don't mind doing my own research for where to buy a laptop either, but all of the laptop's outside of the toughbook are not on the market in DownUnder yet I've looked at via a google.
(I'm not a laptop man)
Any ideas on what is available, even if it is a year or 2 old in the US, which means it maybe available here? There are some beautiful ones coming on the market with SDD HDD's etc, but it is a request for now, not in 2 or 3 years.

Thanks Kabanos See Profile.

Funny how logical a search you need some days.
The reference to MIL-STD 810F will help narrow the search quite easily.
